Katie Stam Miss America 2009
   JANUARY: Newly Crowned Miss America 2009 Katie Stam announced plans to serve as the official spokesperson for Zerosmoke™. She plans to promote a healthier lifestyle to smokers across the US by encouraging them to kick the habit.
In addition, Katie will travel each month speaking to audiences about her platform of Passion for Service: Promoting Commmunity Service and Involvement and Acting as the official National Goodwill Ambassador for Children's Miracle Nework.
Katie's scholastic ambition is to earn her bachelor's degree in Communication with an emphasis on electronic media and she ultimately hopes to become a television news anchor.

Palm Beach Heart Ball  

FEBRUARY14th: Miss America 2009 Katie Stam was in Palm Beach, FL to work with ZEROSMOKE™ and support the efforts of the American Heart Association at the Heart Ball on Saturday evening.

Before the match, Katie enjoyed a fabulous brunch with famous names that included actor, Tommy Lee Jones; International Polo Club President, John Goodman; America's Most Wanted host, John Walsh; and Congressman Tom Rooney.
